Some social events will be organized during the week:
- Guided tour of the city
- On Wednesday afternoon, we propose you a guided tour. There will be two groups: one in French, one in English. Length: +/- 90 min
- Dining out
- On Tuesday evening, we will invite you to a typical restaurant, La Taverne Tchantchès et Nanesse.
- Belgian beer & chocolate tasting
- On Monday afternoon after the first sessions, we will propose you to enjoy some delicious Belgian beer and chocolate.
- Library Visit
- On Thursday morning, we will organize two library visits in parallel: The Léon Graulich (law, economy and social sciences) and the Polytech (engineering and mathematics) library branches will be happy to welcome you for a guided tour. You will be asked to choose one of the visits.
- Meet our Staff
- Meet some of our staff members involved in open science, shared preservation, information literacy, tutorials, digitization, acquisitions… and have an open and informal discussion with them.
- Heritage Collections
- On Tuesday afternoon, you will have the possibility to discover our heritage collections in the Marie Delcourt Room.
- Digitization Room
- On Tuesday afternoon, you will have the possibility to visit the Digitization Room with its impressive scanners and tools.
